Janet Hanchuck, Owner

Photo-JanetAs owner of Loudoun Home Consulting, LLC I have over 25 years experience working in the business community. Previously, I worked as Manager of Personnel Security for a large, local contracting company and held a high-level security clearance (background investigation every five years). I have always been detail-oriented and my expertise lies in my organizational skills. This prompted the emerging of Loudoun Home Consulting business.


My philosophy in life is based on the old adage, “If you want to be successful in life, do what you enjoy doing and you will be happy.” This has proven to be true for me. I love decorating homes and helping to organize people’s lives. My family teases me because my pantry spices are arranged alphabetically and organized in uniform plastic containers. My response is, “I am not obsessive-compulsive, but rather, it’s simply a case of time management. When I am in the middle of cooking, I do not want to stand in the pantry for 10 minutes looking for a particular spice; instead, it’s right at my fingertips because it’s alphabetical.”


I believe everyone has their own strengths and contributions in life -- Organizational skills are mine. I want to help you declutter your life, or decorate your room and accessorize to give it a complete new look!

Maria White

Maria is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and Washington DC chapter (NAPO-WDC). She has been professionally organizing since 2007 mainly in the Ashburn, VA area. She is originally from Maryland and has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware.  Maria formally taught elementary school for 10 years in various locations including The Virgin Islands, Minnesota and Maryland.  Being organized is a big part of successfully managing a classroom of young students so moving into the organizing industry felt like a natural next step.  Maria is a trained designer for Shelf Genie which features quality, custom-built, glide-out shelves for any cabinets (i.e., kitchen, bath, pantry, garage).  Once installed, these drawers (also known as glides) will help organize/improve storage, maximize space and improve accessibility.

 

 

 


 

Tammy Laurent

Tammy_Laurent_web Tammy is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers.  She retired from the U.S. Postal Service having worked in the Human Resources field for thirty years.  Tammy holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree in Human Resources from National Louis University.  In her previous career, Tammy worked with managers and employees to maximize productivity and human resources; this required excellent organizational skills which Tammy then transferred to the residential organizing field.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Jody Al-Saigh

JMA-web200Jody is a former photographer and designer, she specializes in helping you organize your photos and collections.  She spent 10 years in Graphic Design & Print Production Management after graduating Syracuse University with a B.S. in Photography. Jody prides herself on organizing her family and her busy schedule which includes volunteer work with her sorority and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the local Washington DC chapter (NAPO-WDC) and has been professionally organizing since 2008. Jody enjoys all aspects of residential organizing besides photos and kids’ stuff --  such as paper files, closets, and basements.
